How to use AI in your communication

This article gives an overview of why Ozeki AI is better and how to get started using AI for communication. AI communication channels

In short Ozeki AI can do both incoming and outgoing messages and live real-time chat session on the following channels:

How does it work

To use AI communication you can go two ways: You can setup your own AI server to handle all your communication needs or you can sign up for the on-line Ozeki service. Both approaches have advantages and drawbacks.

Option 1: An AI server in your server room

For most businesses data privacy, operational reliability and independence from 3rd party services is very important. For them Ozeki's on-premises AI solution works best. The Ozeki on-premises AI solution constits of an AI server and the Ozeki AI software. This solution can work without any Internet connection and offers excellent speed an performance. To setup your on-premiese AI server for communication follow these steps:

Step 1 - Get the hardware

An AI server is a standard PC equipped with one or two Nvidia GPUs. To create one you needed an Intel based computer with lots of RAM and a fast disk, equipped with Windows 11 and the Ozeki AI software. You can purchase pre built configurations or you can use an existing server and plug in the Nvidia GPU(s) into a standard PCIe 4.0x16 slot. Note: virtual servers will not perform well!

Step 2 - Create the AI chat bots

Once the server is ready, the next step is to create multiple AI chat bots in the installed Ozeki AI studio software to serve the requirements of each department (e.g: one for customer support, another for sales, another for research). Creating a chat bots means writing instructions (prompts) and supplying the chat bot with information to use for handling the request. It is very simple an straightforward process.

Step 3 - Connect the AI chat bots to the communication channels

The final step is to connect the AI chat bots to communication channels. This can be done in the Ozeki AI Chat Gateway app, which comes as part of the Ozeki software package. In Ozeki AI Chat Gateway you have to create the connection and you must configure a route between the chat bot and the communication channel. One AI chat bot can interact on multiple channels: Phone, Chat, E-mail, etc. Available channels:

• Phone: Ozeki can be connected to the land lines, mobile telephone networks and to VoIP phone lines.
• E-mail: You can setup a dedicated e-mail address for AI and use your existing e-mail infrastructure (Exchange, Linux SMPT, Gmail etc).
• Chat: Setup Ozeki Chat server and install chat clients on laptops, and mobile devices or simply use the chat from a browser.
• Social: Configure social media accounts like WhatsApp.

Option 2: Use the Ozeki on-line service for AI communication

Smaller businesses often don't want to operate their own AI servers and would rather pay a monthly fee than making a larger up-front investing into their own AI infrastructure. For them the steps are:

• Step 1 - Subscribe to the Ozeki AI service
• Step 2 - Create your AI chatbots with appropriate instructions (prompts)
• Step 3 - Configure your communication channels (phone numbers, e-mail, chat, etc)

Future considerations

AI models evovle rapidly. The Ozeki AI server handles standard AI model formats and standard quantitatization methods, whicch gives you the ability to run all the current and future AI models locally. If you prefer you can also connect to on-line AI services, such as ChatGPT through their API. (Note that most customers use local models as they are just as good and operate faster and a at a fraction of the cost of on-line models.)
